Save a warranty date on the item
Add a warranty expiration date when you create an inventory item, or edit it later from the item details. This works for the belongings you choose to track, such as a refrigerator, laptop or power tool. The date is entered by you; Life OS does not infer the manufacturer’s terms or register the product on your behalf.
Review the next 30 days in one place
The inventory’s Warranty soon count and Warranty expiring filter identify items whose recorded warranty dates fall within the next 30 days. Item details also display the saved date. This is an in-app review workflow, not a promise of automatic email, text-message or manufacturer notifications.
- See the Warranty soon count in inventory
- Filter to warranties expiring in the next 30 days
- Open an item to check or update its saved date
Keep product details and care history nearby
Store the receipt reference, purchase date, serial number, model number and notes with the same item. Maintenance and care records help you retain the history of work you have recorded. When you contact a retailer or manufacturer, you can review the information you saved without rebuilding the item’s history.
Connect warranty tracking to your wider inventory
Warranty tracking is part of the inventory workflow rather than a separate list. You can still see whether an item is on loan, organize it in a collection and use its purchase details for an insurance inventory report. Warranty coverage, service eligibility and approval remain subject to the provider’s process.
